International consultancy · sustainable natural-resource management, Libreville
Ongoing assignment since October 2024: first as an independent consultant, then through LN Consulting since it was set up in August 2025. Working directly with senior management, the head of finance and administration, and project leads.
- Context
- The Gabonese subsidiary of an international consultancy group, with high supplier volumes, project-based accounting and demanding documentation requirements from funders and from the group.
- Work done
- Work carried out in the client's tools, in direct contact with its management and head of finance and administration. Supplier process follow-up, over 200 invoices a month: document checks and payment preparation, under the responsibility of the client's finance management. The founder wrote the subsidiary's entire administrative and financial procedures manual (more than 40 procedures across eight cycles), drawing on discussions with management and operational teams. Project-based cash-flow plans built and monitored on the ERP in place (Dolibarr). Follow-up of VAT and CSS exemption files, with purpose-built control tools. Preparation of international transfer and import files.
- Outcome
- A documented supplier process, a procedures manual specific to the subsidiary (more than 40 procedures across 8 cycles, with flowcharts and control points), control tools in place for VAT / CSS compliance, and partially automated invoice pre-processing with after-the-fact checks.
Small businesses and independents
Alongside its main assignment, LN Consulting occasionally supports small businesses, including a restaurant in Libreville, with administrative structuring: documents, filing, simple approval workflows and first monitoring tools.
A restaurant in Libreville
The same working framework as for a group subsidiary: engagement letter, dated deliverables, agreed progress points.
