Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026. This English translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page explains which personal data Laurelle NOB Consulting processes, why, with which service providers and for how long. It is drawn up with reference to Gabonese Law No. 001/2011 of 25 September 2011 on the protection of personal data, as amended by Law No. 025/2023 of 9 July 2023. If you live outside Gabon, the mandatory rules of your own country may also apply.
1. Data controller
Laurelle NOB Consulting (trading name: LN Consulting), sole proprietorship under Gabonese law, RCCM No. GA-LBV-01-2025-A10-04710, Akanda, Cap-Esterias, lieu-dit À la Balise, PO Box 111, Gabonese Republic. Represented by Mrs Agnès Laurelle NOB MATEMB.
For any question about your data: contact@lnobconsulting.net.
2. What the site does not do
The site sets no cookies. It uses no audience-measurement tool and no advertising tracker, and it loads no third-party content when pages are displayed. Fonts are served by the site itself.
3. Processing activities
Visiting the site. The host, Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), technically processes your IP address and connection data to display the pages and protect the service. We have no access to any log identifying visitors.
Contact form. Data collected: name, company (optional), email address, content of your enquiry and page language. Your name, email address and enquiry are needed to reply to you; without them the enquiry cannot be sent, but you can always write directly to contact@lnobconsulting.net.
Your message follows this path: the site passes it to a program hosted by Cloudflare, which checks it and hands it to the Resend email delivery service, which delivers it to our mailbox, hosted by Zoho.
To limit abuse, this program runs automatic checks: a hidden field aimed at bots, a minimum time to fill in the form, format checks on each field, and a limited number of submissions per IP address, per hour and per day. If an unusual volume of messages arrives, it applies stricter temporary restrictions (links refused, fewer submissions allowed) without blocking other visitors.
To count submissions, your IP address is never stored in readable form: the counter uses a fingerprint computed with a secret key, from which the address cannot be recovered. This fingerprint changes every day and is deleted automatically within two days of the submission. These checks involve no profiling and produce no decision with legal effects for you. If a submission is refused, a message tells you so and you can email us directly.
Email, phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn. If you contact us through these channels, we process the data you send us (identity, contact details, content of the exchanges). WhatsApp and LinkedIn process your data under their own policies. The site only offers a link to these services and loads none of their content.
Booking a call. The booking link opens the Cal.com service (Cal.com, Inc., United States), where you enter your details yourself. We receive the booking information: name, email address, chosen slot and, where applicable, your message.
Client relationship. For an engagement, we process our contacts' details, our exchanges, contractual documents and invoices. Data entrusted to us by the principal to carry out the engagement is covered by section 7.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiry and arranging a first conversation: pre-contractual measures taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries.
- Carrying out an engagement and following it up: performance of the contract.
- Keeping our accounts and retaining supporting documents: legal obligation.
- Protecting the form against abusive submissions: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
These bases correspond to the cases provided for in Article 71 of the Law. We do not use your data for any other purpose without informing you first. We do not sell, rent or transfer it.
5. Retention periods
- Enquiry with no follow-up: 12 months after the last exchange.
- Prospect (exchanges about a possible engagement, no contract signed): 3 years after your last contact.
- Client: contact details and correspondence for the duration of the engagement, then 5 years; invoices and accounting records for 10 years, the period set by OHADA accounting law (information shown on invoices is kept with them).
- Documents entrusted for an engagement: returned or destroyed at the end of the engagement, according to the principal's instructions.
- Copy of the message kept by Resend: 30 days.
- Technical logs of the form at Cloudflare: 3 days. They contain only result codes (message accepted or refused, reason, language), with no IP address and no message content.
- Anti-abuse counters: 2 days at most.
The last three periods are applied automatically. The others are applied during a quarterly review of our records, so data may be kept for up to three months beyond the period stated.
6. Recipients and transfers outside Gabon
Only Laurelle NOB Consulting has access to your data. Our technical service providers access it only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): site hosting and the form program. Anti-abuse counters are stored in a storage space whose location is set to the European Union.
- Resend (United States): delivery of form messages.
- Zoho: email, data hosted in the European Union (zoho.eu account).
- Cal.com, Inc. (United States): booking, if you use this service.
These services involve transfers of data outside Gabon, to the United States and the European Union.
7. Data processed during engagements
Data and documents entrusted in the course of an engagement (records, files, access to the client's tools) are processed exclusively for the purposes of the engagement concerned, in the tools agreed with the principal and under a confidentiality agreement (NDA) signed before any access. They are not reused, no unnecessary copies are made, and they are returned or destroyed at the end of the engagement according to the principal's instructions. Where an engagement involves a transfer of personal data from the European Union, the appropriate contractual framework (notably standard contractual clauses) is put in place with the principal before the transfer.
8. Your rights
Under the conditions laid down by the Law, you may ask for access to your data, its rectification, updating or erasure, restriction of its processing and, for data you provided to us, its portability. You may also object to its processing, and at any time to its use for marketing purposes. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before.
Write to contact@lnobconsulting.net. We reply within one month. This period may be extended by two months if the request is complex; we will then tell you so within the first month. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask you for proof.
You may lodge a complaint with the Gabonese data protection authority, the Autorité de protection des données personnelles et de la vie privée (APDPVP), in Libreville: contact@apdpvp.ga, www.apdpvp.ga. If you live in the European Union, you may also contact the data protection authority of your country.
9. Security
Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). The form is protected against automated submissions and IP addresses are never stored there in readable form. Access to technical accounts and to the mailbox is restricted to Laurelle NOB Consulting and protected by two-factor authentication.
10. Changes
This policy may change, in particular if our service providers change. The date shown at the top of the page is that of the latest update.
